The company decided to send me a bill for the item stating that i needed to pay now.....I used amazon giftcards. I tried calling the company, But before i could even get a word out, they hung up on me. That happened twice. All I got to say is RUN!

I purchased this laser pointer as a gift. I tested it when I received it and it worked fine. I tested it again the day I was to present it and it didn't work. I bought new batteries and it didn't work. Finally, after fidgeting around with it for some time, I got it to work by pulling on the spring in the the battery compartment. Apparently, a poor connection was made. The guage of the spring wire is too fine and compresses easily. When this happens, the electrical connection is lost and the laser ceases to function. Its a pain to have to open the battery compartment over and over again to extend the spring to get a connection.

I've bought a lot of these and this one is the best. Usually the switch is what goes bad in these and this one seems to work well. The AAA batteries are a plus too. Like I said, I bought a lot of these and most of them are bad, this one is good.
