This mouse pointer works perfectly for Power Point presentations. Advances slides (forward and backward) and has LED pointer. I haven't had the problem with battery life others complain about. The battery cover seems a little flimsy but hasn't been a problem.
Works in both Mac and PC. No setup problems.

I was using the presenter for the first time, and about 10 minutes into my presentation, the laser button got jammed and stopped working. Subsequently, the page-up and page-down buttons felt like they could come off any second. While it worked right out-of-the-box on my macbook (with MS powerpoint), the presenter seems really flimsy and even for $12 (I bought it on a sale), it doesn't seem worth it. I am trying to return it and hoping that I'll get my money back.

For what this cost (super cheap), I got exactly what I needed. I didn't need anything with extra features, just the basics, and this is perfect. I had a hard time locating a battery for it (had to go to a specialty place), but that was pretty inexpensive also. I've had no issues with battery life, but I also heeded the warnings of other reviewers and I remove the battery when I'm not using it. All in all, an excellent little gadget.
