I had this laser for about 2 months and it started to burn. I was not pushing the button or anything with it and it started to burn. I then replaced the batteries and it started to burn more I think this could be a fire hazzard. Warning do NOT buy this.

The light output is as expected. Power button sometimes doesn't seem to line up with the switch inside the unit. The part of the pen where the laser unit housing meets the battery pack keeps popping off. I tried a little super glue but it doesn't seem to want to stay together. Not a big problem but if you are looking for quality, this is NOT it. Great for a pet toy, not reliable enough for a business presentation though. I guess you get what you pay for.

I bought this for my dog, he loves to chase things, and I thought he would get exercise this way, which he does! It works most of the time, sometimes it gets really faint and really hard to see, I find that shaking it works after a few times. Its worth the money, it comes in a cute wood like box.

Why pay more? This item is exactly the same as the laser pointer titled "GREAT QUALITY RED LASER POINTER WITH CASE AND BATTERIES" also from Amazon and from the same seller. I bought both to see the difference and they are identical. Even the OEM model numbers and batteries are the same. So save some cash and buy the other.
